Saw this film at Glasgow Showcase East. I must admit that I did find it interesting how long some people will wait before they leave. Most did leave with no fuss. I have to say that I was intrigued with the film though I'm not entirely sure what we were supposed to take from the film: given time, we will adapt to any situation? I thought Ewan McGregor was ok in the role but found the supposed virus expert as a waste of space. She had no real function in the film other than as the love interest. The story idea is certainly original but definitely requires you to "go with it" and leave the thinking until after the film.
If it was on tv, I'd have turned channel.
I wouldn't like to have pa*d to see it.
I can't think of anyone that I would advise to go and see it (the friend who came with me is probably the only other person I know who would have stayed!).

Marks 5/10.

Met Yinster and OH. Having read the other reviews I see that I missed a few other Fmukers!!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

I got caught in the downpour on the way to the cinema, and that set the mood "perfectly" for the rest of the evening. Quite a few people walked out in Shepherd's Bush, I foolishly suffered until the bitter end. It had some good ideas, but overall just a little too grim for me. Still... "at least it had knockers!" as someone summed up on the way out!

Hope they weren't still munching away.

Yes, definitely. I asked the Sky person collecting tickets at Shepherd's Bush "Have you got anything nice for us tonight?" meaning popcorn or chocolate and she said "You mean they haven't said what the film is?". I thought it rather strange that she would expect someone to come and see a film without knowing what it was!

Not a great film, was it? But I've seen worse, I suppose. The crisp munchers were certainly out in force last night. One couple a few rows from me seemed to be working their way through 2 whole carrier bags of snacks. Made me wonder whether I should have booked so many tickets for the London Film Festival given that even there you can be stuck in front of people who are rustling sweet bags - the older I get the lower my irritation threshold becomes. One man last year was trying quietly to open sweets with the result that the noise lasted for twice as long and I ended up turning around and saying very angrily to him "Can you hurry up and finish that bag!". I feel awful about it now - he looked horrified.

I know what Karenig123 looks like and I didn't see her so what chance do you have MGellaty. To be fair I didn't even see you. Probably cos I don't expect anyone in that cinema. In my own wee world last night.

If you saw it at Cineworld Greenwich you could have used the free popcorn voucher from the Sky website.

But surely the redeeming point is that
they found each other. They still had their sense of touch and could hold each other.
That's what my friends and I took from film.
