I have the feeling we might be getting red carpet coverage at Cineworld Greenwich as the premiere is at the same time.

I wasnt actually too impressed with the 10-15 preview segment they showed at Big Screen Empire but this new trailer released yesterday has got me more excited the the Empire presentation.

Sorry we have to bear up with 20 second commercial but its only exclusive to MSN. Worth the wait though

I think we might have a thread already for this I'll edit this post with a link if I find it

edit: search function comes up with nothing, maybe it was just discussed in the big screen thread and not it's own thread

Has anyone actually read the comic books? My friend is a big fan of them and forced me to read them a few months ago. I read 2 stories and I have to say they are good fun adventures. Snowy the dog being my favouriote character. But what surprised me is that Tintin is not a kid but a grown up private detective...its just he looks like a kid in the drawings and it still bothers me. I dont like the look of him if he is supposed to be an adult. The film looks to be a an exact visual copy of the books on the big screen though.

I read them as a child, yes. He's supposed to be young, but not a kid no.

It's part of the drawing style I suppose, it's very similar to my favourite comic from my childhood Suske en Wiske (Bob et Bobette):

Same here. I loved comics when I was younger and Tin-tin was one I read. He isn't a boy but not quite yet a man. He is a young reporter. And Tin Tin is where the 80's group Thompson Twins got their name. Looking forward to seeing it.
