Well done BettyBoop. I am sure once you get into the swing of it you will be fine. Make use of your meetings by staying - you will always discover that other people are having similar concerns or have ideas of where to wisely spend your daily points etc.

Re: Weight Watchers
Well Done Betty Boop, we all so very proud of you
Remember to exercise too that way you look slimmer quicker:D
I'm off to see my health trainer this afternoon. The card she gave me says 'health trainers will: Encourage you and motivate you to lead a healthier lifestyle, and spend time with you to make plans. here's the website http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Publichealth/He ... /index.htm
I've filled out my eating and exercise pattern for the last two weeks and really looking forward to it later.
Maybe we should turn the 1bs lost into £1's to be only spent on ourselves and when we have lost he weight post a photo of that something special we spent it on

Re: Weight Watchers
They told me I should have 25 points a day, but I thought that was way too much, so I've been having 20-22 points a day and not going hungry, so I think you should have whatever you feel comfortable with as long as its not loadsBettyBoop wrote:Oh and I forgot to say Iam aloud a total of 23 points which seems like quite alot....at this rate I am gonaa be eating far more than I normally do!
Once I lose a pound Iam down to 22 points!

Well I actually went 5 points over because the rose in the fridge got the better of me.....so as not to get defeated and fall at the first hurdle ive decided that its ok to do that either on a friday or saturday night! and ive been a total saint today and plan to be all night too!!

Tonight is going to be really tough for me BettyBoop. We are going to my friend's surprise party. Her husband has asked me to make the desserts! All that cream and chocolate and Tia Maria etc etc and I'll undo all the good work I've done during the week.

I think that's a good attitude BettyBoop - no point punishing yourself - it's not so bad and you can make it work for you :)
Andrews - you will be fine! It's ok to treat yourself now and again - no point making the healthy eating a prison!

Cheers hun..........how right are you - healthy eating is not a prison....Its a choice you make to enjoy life more! I must remember that when the chocolate hobnobs start calling my name...and at 2 points each they are just not worth it!
