Dear Standard Card holder, From Monday 12 October, the London Evening Standard will cease to be a pa*d fornewspaper and will instead be available across London as a free newspaper. As aresult of this change, we will be discontinuing the Eros/Standard Card. You willbe able to claim a refund for the remaining balance on your account from Monday12 October. The balance will be based on the amount of funds you have on yourcard as of Friday 9 October at midnight. In order to access your refund, youwill need to log into your account on Monday 12 October and complete the simplerefund process. You will be emailed further details next week.

I forgot something really strange happen to me yesterday!
As I was coming out of the shop where I b*ght the shoes I started to cross the road and I just for some reason pa*d attention to a "noooooo, look out" someone a bit far away from me shouted I went back to the safe island on the road and looked back, a man was smiling at me saying "you didn't see that" at the same time that a car passed shaving my nose. Of course I must have been grinning because he continued as he showed me the way to the other side of the road, I had just been shopping what do you expect? He talked to me about... sometimes people not been attentive enough and blah, blah, blah he turned the corner and I tried to reach him to say at least thank you and he was gone... where? where did he go? if he had gone into a building at least show me a door, or take a couple of seconds to turn a key...not one second after he turned the corner that I reached, he was gone.

Yesternight after our loooooovely dinner I said goodbye to bevvy, Colin, Beate and mantaman, I headed for the platform that takes me home, stood there and looked down to the floor and found a little black leather diary which luckily for me it had a name and mobile number so I proceeded to text the person my finding, I noticed that he didn't live far away from my school, so I thought I could get to give it back personally but when he answered my message he offered his secretary to collect it. So we left it for today at one point or another, but with the SFF code problem and me trying to be fast and email them so I could get a tix for King's before leaving for school, forgot all about the little diary.
This morning he called back, and this is when King's enters to perform, I realised it was getting late for me but nevertheless stayed waiting for SFF to send the new code, which arrived soon after, meanwhile got a message: school is cancelled again! (just hope not for the year as the professors are retired people from Uni which means old pensioners who refuse to sit at home)
Hounding this call the secretary phoned and insisted to come to me. So, gave her and appointment nearby and as I handed the diary she pushed a plastic bag back to me and ran off for the first bus that came, waving goodbye.
I was really really really startled at the lady's jump as she is not a young woman anymore but...
So, I went back home... and now... I have a bottle of Champagne and £20
I sent him a message thanking him and clarifying that it was not meant to be an exchange. I love money but I mean what I say too. He texted back thanking me again!
So, SFF gave King's, prevented me from an empty ride to school and explaind why this morning I woke up singing like Vic Reeves does when you have to guess the song...bunging dinging dongin...gunging.

Hubby had to work late tonight and by the time he told me it was too late to get to Couples Retreat or get anyone else to go.

Looked for you at Ocean Terminal and wondered why you were not there but believe me you did not miss much and your hubby would not have enjoyed it. We would only give it a 4 ! Disappointing!
