Yes Carnage was fun. A little slight and unsurprisingly stagy but the script was very funny and the acting was excellent. Plus at 79 mins it doesn't outstay it's welcome.

My friend has taken some really good photos of George Clooney at the press conference today, far better than the twitpics I saw tweeted earlier by some officials. She has now gone to see some obscure film called "Lotus Eaters".

Just back from the Ides of March premiere, it's really a changing of the guards time. I was shocked to see the low turnout of fans in Leicester Sq to support Clooney, even factoring in the building works etc. This must have been one of the worst turnouts for a premiere in a while. George Clooney certainly looked his age in real life and on film too. It was almost like a passing of the baton to younger actors like RG.
The film whilst interesting as a TV episode, was ultimately disappointing for such a major screening and one that was touted for awards. There was surprisingly lack of scope and vision. I will write more later under the film discussion thread

You'll probably like it.
I just imagined something more cinematic, with more scope. It's a feature film and not a TV series after all...

I am going to check out some of the things in the film, I love and follow American politics, but some parts were rather implausible

Ryan Gosling was too busy to turn up tonight. George was repeatedly asked questions about RG
