Oh thanks for the popcorn! C_T and PXC, almost finished the whole bag too. o/

There was a tea commercial before the film started, it had some of the most beautiful animation I've seen. Proper old school handrawn type. The fluidity of it was stunning. Had a lady rowing a boat in a stormy seas. Anyone impressed with that or was everyone so impatient waiting for the screen to get on with the blasted film?! I need to find about more about it but dont even know what the tea is. At least I know its about tea. So a bit of googling should help.

In case anyone wants to be bitchy like me and give Cineworld a bollocking for 30 minutes of adverts prior to Tintin at the O2 yesterday, here's the email address: customer.services@cineworld.co.uk
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I'm sorry guys, but to complain about ads...that's really petty.

I don't think so. They ask people to arrive at 1pm for a 2pm screening, so that's a 90 minute wait for many people (and many with children no less). Even pa*d screenings don't have so many adverts. Surely Cineworld are pa*d by Sky for not only sponsorship of the Superscreen but these screenings. To then keep everyone waiting for so long is ridiculous and greedy. Plus it can ruin people's plans when there's an extra 30 minutes tacked on. It's greedy and deceitful in my mind. I'm sorry, people should say something because what's next? 40 minutes? At what point should people say it's too much?

I agree with you sf. It is far too excessive - so if you arrived as requested by Sky at 1pm for a 2pm start, that's an hour and half wait before the film starts, and if you have other plans, that will make you half an hour late too.

30 minutes is a bit much. I guess they want a big buildup but all it becomes is a snorefest.

That Twinings advert, I thought that was a trailer for a new movie at first! quality.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
