Those recipes above sound very tasty and I may try that out next week. I'm doing a lamb hotpot ( saw the recipe on Lorraine ) so hope it comes out ok.

2 tablespoons Virgin Olive oil
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 red chilli or 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes
1 tin toms (pref chopped)
1 red pepper (chopped small chunks)
salt & pepper to taste

Cook the onion till transulcent, add the garlic, chilli and red pepper. Cook for further 2-3 mins. Add tin toms, simmer for a further 5 mins or so. Done, all ready to go!
thanks for that! i might not use the chilli flakes but the rest sounds yum!

Is this in protest against the surcharge at the salad bar at The Student Union yesterday because they claimed you overfilled your bowl?

Diane, do you like marmite? Marmite and cottage cheese go very well together.

I made a very quick dinner with a difference last night.

Swedish meatballs (you get about 20 odd in the pack) in chasseur sauce (tin of), peas and baby carrots (tins of) with some micro mash. I added a splash of red wine and some pepper to the sauce and bobs your uncle, very easy casserole type dinner.

Tasted a lot better than I expected it to and I can safely say that I'll be having again, but perhaps I'll do it from scratch next time.

Oh from scratch would be better - taste even better that is, and be healthier too! great idea though!

I need some ideas for healthy lunches that aren't salads or sandwhiches. i'm happy to have wraps, in fact i really like them but i don't know what to put in them :/
