Don't worry - remember that lean tissue weighs more than fat, so you could even have gained slightly but still be healthier. And lean tissue burns up more energy, too. But as long as you've stuck to your diet most of the time, you should be fine.

Don't worry BettyBoop you have decided to change the way you eat, and if that means a few off days its still a decision you have made. We know you will succeed, try not to be hard on yourself.

You are doing great :bighug:

Everyone is doing brilliantly :) Keep up the good work. Ms T is right though, so don't be disheartened if it's not what you're expecting.

Good luck Betty I'm sure you'll be fine, just make sure you don't drink a lot this afternoon as that can add pounds. I make sure I don't drink much after 5pm for a 7pm meeting :P o/

Arghhhhh, my diet is getting nowhere. Well, I haven't started strictly but at this rate I will never start. I b*ght £10 worth of sweets in Asda the other day, then I went and b*ght Belgian Chocolate Popcorn & Strawberry with White chocolate pop corn. The same evening I had pizza with four cheese, added more cheese on top and mushrooms. Today I b*ght £15 worth of dessert, cheesecake, cheesecake and more cheesecake (Banoffe and strawberry! ;) ) and caramel dessert, creme brulee, cream slices and so on which are all in my stomach. Then just now for dinner, I got a PFC meal (chicken fillet burger, hot wings, chips and drink). All very unhealthy. At this rate, I will only put on four extra stones and not get anywhere. :( I didn't realise how much I actually eat! I just don't have the motivation to start this diet. :(

Bless, we’ve all been there...if you want my advice break it into steps.

Step 1, never do a diet ever again, its called eating for the rest of your life
Step 2, if you were an alcoholic, drug taker or smoker you would be offered help and support free of charge. I’m not knocking WW or SW etc but most of us have done it and gone back to our old ways. Contact the NHS Health trainers
http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Publichealth/He ... /index.htm
Step 3, Start today with a good breakfast, and gradually replace your weakness foods with healthy options……there is nothing more soul destroying that saying to yourself ‘right Monday I’ll start’ do it now, not Monday and gently not head on.
Step 4, have a good walk or some exercise, again gently not head on.
Step 5, start feeling better about yourself
Step 6, start thinking about your relationship with food
Step 7, make it a family thing. Mine just think I’m cooking different things and enjoying it too.

I’ve been attending for 5 weeks now and its so interesting; there is no pressure or scales :p i just go by an old coat that is too small, yet gets gradually looser

Good luck, like all the other kind people on this thread, if you want any help I’ll gladly support you
