Again, since VM have changed the way they allocate tickets, this screening was well less than half full(it was in Liverpool). It was also the first time I've been asked for id, luckily I had some or another 2 bags of popcorn would've been wasted!
As a matter of interest, who asked for I.D. - Virgin lady, security or Showcase staff?

What was wrong with Attack The Block? I loved that film! One of my fave free previews of this year :)

Oh I forgot to mention. There was a lovely 5 minute short movie at the beginning called Sign Language about a sign holder worker musing about how vibrant London is and secretly having a longing to talk to a girl across the road who he thinks is out of bounds. Its such a basic story but the actor was damn good and really holds your attention. Probably was a better quality short than the main feature itself! Though as I posted earlier, I did enjoy the main film :)

Sign Language was the winner of the Virgin Short Films last year and is lovely. None of the contenders this year are as good in my opinion.

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.
