Kill Keith
Kill Keith
I saw this at Newham tonight. The film is exceedingly silly. It has some novelty value and some humour in the use of real characters in the fictional story, but unfortunately is not nearly as funny as those involved seem to think it is.
It's interesting that I seem to be alone in this thread as I wanted to p*y tribute to the excellent well behaved audience tonight. Oh hang on that would be because it was only me there as well!

Re: Kill Keith
Well it was for most of the time. There was one guy sitting right at the back who came in well into the film really quietly and went again at some point. I think he was a member of staff just skiving for a bit.
As for "everyone else" - I have no idea.

Re: Kill Keith
At least it was quiet then
I wouldn't mind having the whole screen to myself.

Re: Kill Keith
I don't think I'd like to sit in the cinema alone unless I was sitting in the back row so I could watch out for anyone else coming in to the screening. You never know.....I'd prefer to keep my eye on THEM! (as well as the film!)cliveas wrote:Well it was for most of the time. Re: Kill Keith
Well I was a bit startled when I caught a glimpse of the guy at the back. I certainly hadn't heard him come in. I had looked all around me several times before and there had definitely been no one there.
But quiet - absolutely. I didn't hear him come in, leave or at any other time. In fact my only complaint was that I would have liked to turn the sound down, it seemed rather loud. I suspect it would have seemed normal with a bit of noise from other people around me, though.

Re: Kill Keith
I saw this last night and had a similar experience....we won the tickets on one of the comps in the competition thread.
Showcase Cinema Reading, in one of the biggest screens there, and there were only 6 people in there including my wife and I.
Silliy film, amusing in places (childlike humour mostly).....never walked out of a film before but this was the closest I have come.

My virtual hat goes off to both of you.
I saw the poster and smirked briefly, but then could Not possibly imagine how they would drag the joke out over 90 odd minutes and certainly had no desire to see it.
Well done.

Re: Kill Keith
I too was the only person at my screening plus I could have done with having the volume turned down a tad.
Amusing film at times. David Easter played his part very well, in fact I thought most of the cast did.
I was either totally misled or else I got the start wrong but
wasn't that Keith Chegwin in the cage at the beginning having stuff thrown at him?
and
When did we see Jimmy White?

I thought it was KC at the very start but every time they went back to the cage I was trying to make out whether it was or not and I couldn't tell. I thought it odd that they didn't seem to mention the name of the first victim either. The Sparrow wrote:I too was the only person at my screening plus I could have done with having the volume turned down a tad.

I hadn't realised that JW was in it, so looked it up. Apparently he was suffocated on porridge, wasn't that the first death after he was taken from the cage to the field? So was it JW in the cage?
