Re: Immortals
Did anyone who went to Greenwich to see this, complain to Sky?
If so, did you get a response?
I wrote a complaint, regarding having to wait so long for the movie to start and unsurprisingly I didn't get a response
Thanks

Re: Immortals
What address did you send your complain to? Another one might be more effective. That said it's only been 2 days, so they may be taking their time.rjhempel wrote:Did anyone who went to Greenwich to see this, complain to Sky?

Re: Immortals
I've never actually complained to Sky myself, I've complained to the cinema though and have had responses in the past.

Re: Immortals
But were the responses helpful? Odeon Greenwich were as unhelpful as shit with the Lion King complaint so I got Disney involved and got a result within days. So it might be an idea to get Sky involved here.

Re: Immortals
I don't complain often, but the two times I complained to cinemas they sent me vouchers. Neither time was the Odeon Greenwich though.

Re: Immortals
I sent a complaint to Sky (support@skyscreenings.com) and this is the response I got:
Firstly apologies for the additional security. We don't have any control over security - they are employed by the film studio and are sometimes a requirement for more sensitive film titles. Phones do have to be switched off in preview screenings and they should have been advising that on entrance and should only have been reiterating the fact if customers were not adhering to the instructions.
We also made sure there was a note on the tickets that said the same thing so that it was not a surprise.
At The O2, it took an unusually long time to get people into the screen due to the security checks and the distribution of glasses. In addition, the escalators to the balcony were out of order which meant our number of entrances were cut down by half and we had no advance knowledge of the mechanical failure. We understand from the logs that the film started at somewhere between 7.30pm and 7.35pm.
When we use Sky Superscreen, The O2 require us to allow at least an hour to get people into the screen. It is a very large screen and 30 minutes just isn't enough time I'm afraid.
We continually review which screens we use for film previews, based on general customer feedback across a number of events.
We will also look into whether the Sky representative was making attempts to communicate the delay to customers.
We're sorry for your experience last week and very much hope it hasn't put you off taking advantage of Sky Rewards in the future.
Kind regards,
Sky Rewards

Re: Immortals
They had no advance knowledge of the mechanical failure? The escalators had been out of order for weeks but I was told in an email that they were ok now - so did they fail again shortly before the film or what?

I remember using the UP one going in...... and the DOWN one when I came out. They were both still working unless I am imagining it.Beate wrote:They had no advance knowledge of the mechanical failure? Re: Immortals
Are you referring to the balcony escalators or the main entrance escalators as I do think the escalators were out of order for the balcony. The entrance ones were working perfectly fine.Mesa7719 wrote:
