Re: Weight Watchers
so uh..moving swiftly on
I had just come back from a 4km jog followed by a 1.5hr squash session. I lost my league match and might result in my dropping down the ranks a notch but nevermind, I will try to spring back up again. I learn from the losses and I think I was still feeling a bit grotty after last night :)
Kind a feel better after last nights massive cheat day (but I did enjoy my cheat day...very important to enjoy them!). HAV, you are quite right in going for the least calorie options, You are very wise as usual

Re: Weight Watchers
Just found this thread and as I'm currently attending Slimming World each week I will have a keen interest in the chat here from now on (I may even read through the previous 158 pages for hints/tips).
Joined SW in the first week of September and to date I've managed to lose 2 stone and half a pound so looking forward to Christmas when I can let loose a bit - a 7 day cheat day!

Re: Weight Watchers
Hi robertjags welcome to the thread and well done on your weight loss that is amazing
Please ignore MrGlass asking for volunteers for his research its not that type of thread, he has been lead astray with partying this weekend and resorted to smut
(even our leader gets nagged)
We are a group of friends with TheyCallMeMrGlass as our motivational leader who guides (nags) us in our journey, we all have our own personal goals in our aim to get the body beautiful and we give each other moral support along the way.
Please feel free to offer tips/advice of your own as we would love to hear from you.

Re: Weight Watchers
Welcome dude, and what an awesome inspirational introduction with your current fat loss achievement. That is quite impressive. You certainly did it the right way, lose the body fat in preparation for the festivities to come (you will notice I always say fat loss as opposed to weight loss because its only the fat we all want to lose, nothing else) . Many have a tendency to just make up for the self-indulgence after the damage is done which we shouldn't and you are instead embracing for the impact as we are all trying to do here. Great stuff. You deserve your 7 day cheat! Well how about make it 5 day (xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day, new years eve, new years day), just a thought because you dont want to undo the great work you didrobertjags wrote:Just found this thread and as I'm currently attending Slimming World each week I will have a keen interest in the chat here from now on (I may even read through the previous 158 pages for hints/tips).

And thanks for joining us and inspiring us already, we all motivate each other here...and if you do flick back on some pages, you'll find so much success stories from everyone here. And even when someone has reached their goal, we still motivate to maintain that healthy lifestyle.

Re: Weight Watchers
Due to the inspiration I'm feeling from everyone here, I have set my self another goal to go with my Leith Hill half marathon in February. I have just booked a 3 day trip to Edinburgh in May to run the Endinburgh Marathon. That completes a nice 6 month set of goals. Very excited and this time I want to run for a charity that helps less fortunate children to lead a healthy more active life. Not sure which charity is that, I'll need to find. Or maybe you guys can give me an idea.
If you guys are seeing a film tonight, consider a nice jog to the cinema either all the way or part way. I will do the same right now, on my way to see Take Shelter :)
