And this new policy at WIQ totally sucks about waiting in the bar.

Are they still doing that? Did they not give you the screen number? I think I have to insist on that next time. There is no way I am going to wait in the bar, missing out on the best seats (though they increasingly seem to depend on who sits close!)

I guess what helped me enjoy the movie a bit more than everyone else is that I grew up on Baseball movies. From "The Bad News Bears", to "The Natural", "Bull Durham", "Field of Dreams", "Major League 1 & 2", "A League of Their Own" & "The Rookie", I managed to understand pretty much all the jargon. 2 months back I even had the honor to sit in Yankee Stadium and see the Baltimore Orioles get demolished by the New York Yankees. Make no mistake though, Baseball is an incredibly boring game! But understanding the fundamentals definitely helps one derive a little more satisfaction from the movie.

One good thing about not knowing anything about it though was that I genuinely didn't know how far they got on 'the streak' so that was one of the most tense bits which I assume for people that know the history would know the outcome. Unless of course it's another made up bit?

Directly behind the bar - 3rd or 4th row from the screen, 3 seats from the aisle. Apart from the freezing cold, I was extremely comfy! And bonus, I managed to suppress all my coughs. If anyone ever asks me to name my favourite Cadbury product, I'll be sure to say "HALLS".

They had problems with the password at Greenwich and after 30 mins we got offered to go see Twilight instead. I laughed loudly, 50% of the people in the room left to see Twishite. We then got offered Towerheist (just when you think they can't sink any lower) but we opted to wait and see what happened. Not a minute later we were told that the password did indeed work (I bet someone left the capslock on!) and so we got to see Moneyball half an hour late. I really enjoyed it though it was a bit too long. Jonah Hill was brilliant and loved the daughter too. 7/10

they just said "go on 2nd floor", so of course WE went directly to the 3rd floor because WE knew there was no screen on the aforementioned 2nd floor
