Can't say I liked this much. Long and dull, I gave it my attention as I battled to enjoy it. I felt I should be absorbed with it, but I just wasn't. If I hadn't travelled all the way to Shepherds Bush then I may have walked out (well probably not, I've seen a lot worse and stayed until the end).
I did like Michael Shannon's portrayal and there was a bit of a Broadwalk Empire reunion with the actor who played his best friend/ work colleague. I just couldn't find many redeeming features for it and I couldn't be bothered to question the 'what's' and 'whys' by the drawn out end. 4/10.
I was also asked for my Times+ Card at the screening at Shepherds Bush Westfield

. There was a person in a Times + t-shirt collecting all the print outs instead of the normal cinema staff (similar to the new Sky set up). But this was only the second time I have been asked for the card. Luckily the guy was quite nice and let me off but he did sternly tell me to remember it for next time as they are getting quite strict on it. Something to remember for next time.
