If it's anything like the "sandwiches" in How I Met Your Mother, I foresee an awesome time :P

And here's my review for this steaming pile of crap: http://londonfilmfanatiq.com/2011/12/06 ... years-eve/
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I can post this already because I never got in tonight. Booooooo! Cinema was totally full. I was late due to traffic and roadworks and a 1 1/2 hour drive home - but only by 10 minutes. Most impressed with the nice SKY lady who offered me the chance to see any other movie showing tonight. I've opted for Hugo 3D and will go back to cinema in about an hour.
I think I've come off better off in this one.

Me too. They should be finishing up soon unless there were some delays again.

Well, chop off my balls and call me Suzy. That was an utter piece of f**king shit!
But ok, I'm not the target audience. I had nothing better to do tonight.

Anyway, slightly better than "Valentine's Day" which was the celluloid equivalent of a prostate exam.
The only relatively interesting subplot for me was the one involving Michelle Pfeiffer and Zac Efron, but honestly that's not saying much.

This is also the first time I've seen SNL news correspondent Seth Meyers on anything other than SNL and I'm damn disappointed he chose this garbage for his big screen outing. Russell Peters was there too playing an extremely insulting Indian stereotype (as per his comedy routine). He hasn't come a very long way from his douchebag cameo in "Source Code". There was also some cringe-worthy reference to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" when Matthew Broderick's character appeared. (Btw, spoiler alert)

And as usual, Garry Marshall's BFF Hector Elizando was there.

I watched it at The O2 where late comers were trickling in well past the 45 minute mark. I'm guessing they all thought it was scheduled to start at 19h00 as per the recent Sky Screenings.

oh lucky you! no chance of our cinema being full unfortunately :( they put us in screen 3 not one of the normal small screens that we get at the odeon.

You can tell times are tough, I was trying to count up the number of oscar winners in this just there for the p*y-cheque.
The best bit was the goofs at the end. It was so dull I think anyone one of us could have come up with a similar plot and script without even trying.

I've never been a fan of Love Actually, but it makes it seem amazing now.

3/10

My friends and I loved this!! No positive reviews on here?! Laughing out loud at many points during the film. Some very cheesy moments, but overall a good feel-good movie. 8/10 from me!

Very few funny moments and more cheese than on a deli counter!!!

We got in -lucky us! Wish we had been late like stuartboy and had the choice of another film.

So disappointing for a film with so many big named stars in it. Alvin and the Chipmunks was better!!!!! :noo:
