Any ideas why he needed to take a coke shot in that one scene? He didn't strike me as a drug addict.

Only my interpretation, but he was about to have meaningful sex with someone he quite clearly cared about in some manner, and he felt it was too overwhelming to do sober.

Am I the only one who thinks he’s got 2 flats? The one in Central Manhattan and the one overlooking the river?
Some of you mentioned a hotel room, but this room looks very much like the one from the opening sequence (I’d understand if you were more focused on Fass’ body at this point rather than on his open-space flat!), and at this point it’s quite clear that it’s not a hotel room as he’s got his own phone line/voicemail.

Later in the movie, his flat is smaller, darker, small windowed and definitely not open-space anymore…

Oh well, this movie was really a mess!
