WOW Epic film.
Just got back from a full Bournemouth Odeon and loved the film from start to finish, the time flew by 146 mins which is a long film. The story was well played out and kept you wanting more and the horse was the star of the show never put a foot wrong :D we all went through a rollercoaster of emotions as the story panned out. The battlefield was out standing brutal and savage.Going to be a blockbuster im sure.....go see it. o/ o/

Was looking forward to seeing this earlier today but alas was turned away from Kingston Odeon for the screen being full. Never had this happen with SFF before :(

I liked it. Didn't love it, and as such was a little disappointed, because I had such high expectations. I can't decide why, there was just something missing.

I really liked this film. When I read it was 146 minutes I thought it would be far too long but the time passed very quickly and although it started off a bit slow soon got into the story. Some humorous moments and some very sad but a film I would recommend seeing.

Odeon at Westerhailes was full and there was a few blowing noses and sniffing towards the end.

The goose was funny too and thought we would see it again at the end -but maybe Octopus has snatched it for her foie gras for Xmas. :p 10/10 from me.

Went to Braehead (80% full) this morning. I loved the film. I was totally engrossed in the fortunes of the horse (Joey) and the people who "owned" him over the years. Joey was fabulous and if there was an Oscar for the best animal he would win it hoof down!
I was amazed to see someone bringing in a baby given how long the film is and did comment that I hoped they were not seated near us! Mother was late and did make her way to the back but the security person followed her and told her to sit at the front. Only once did I hear a slight noise which I think was a miracle. The cinema was very settled throughout the film . . . . very few to the toilet or munching noisily! I predict this film will become a classic!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Well after NYE + Shame disappointment, this film hit the spot!!!

A great journey of a horse through peoples lives and a little touch of humour! Shot in some wonderful places and the colours were amazing. o/

Well I did well up in part as I was emotionally attached to that lovely horse.... :D

We were watched by security incase a cellphone was visible!!! :P

Well, I'm going to be the only one who didn't enjoy the movie then.
At the beginning I thought it was meant for children but later on when the story evolved I was not sure any more. Too tragic for children, too plain for grown ups.
    I'm sorry but I didn't like it.

By the way the movie started 10 minutes earlier and I had problem to get inside.
    Does it happen very often?
