I bet she had a hard time finding anyone to say something positive, it had a slow start which barely improved when there was actual action.

Yea they asked me to comment too but I declined because I didn't have anything good to say! (was at the same cinema!)

LOL when I completed the feedback form last week there was a final question about allowing my comments to be used for marketing so I said yes. and then in the 'any other comments' box I said I bet my comments don't get used for marketing!

i'm in the minority as i enjoyed this. Gritty grim and unfortunately realistic except for the vigilantie grandad lol
adulthood meets taken
i saw it at kingston about 5% full. Good to see Plan B aka Ben Drew in a meatier role to adulthood and cooke (skins) playing a different character to his skins anything for a laugh persona.

Mr Cain played his role well but the first half of the film was so quiet i couldnt munch on my popcorn lol - lots of coughs as people tried to descreetly open wrappers and bags!!

I had a bag of crisps too, but I always go for the quick kill! Open it in one go so its over and done with. Yep that was me

I was at the Whiteleys showing too but I was too shy to give my feedback which would have been a bit more positive unlike many of you here! I understand the criticisms and agree with some but I thought the film touched a raw nerve about some youngsters in Britain today. As Anteena1 says, its not far from the truth in regards to these monsters who are more scary than zombies. Yes the film was a bit over the top towards the end but thats what I want. Its cinema, and I want to see our legendary cockney hero wipe out the scums and a drug warlord to boot :) I thought Michael Caine was great, he always is. But the story is too simple and predictable. It was just simply Death Wish in London. But I still enjoyed it.

I have to say I enjoyed the film, admittedly very violent and one wouldn't wish to see such violence, but it is also sadly very realistic of the state of things.

Have to say, those I was with, said we could do with a few more Harry Browns to clear up the mess.

Went to the Whitley's Odeon showing last night, have to say the screen was a small intimate room, seats were comfy!

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was certainly a dark gritty British film with some disturbing scenes. I thought Sir Michael Caine played his role superb. Is it me or is he doing more work now than ever before? The film gets you in the mindset of how helpless people can be and how powerless the police are. Sadly this is how society is and these large gangs are very intimidating. I think this was quite realistic, just confirming this by reading the disturbing free-paper this morning (Metro) about some yobs setting fire to a guys beard on the train.

After the movie i got interviewed by the Radio advertising agency in which i answered a few questions so they could get soundbites, and as an added bonus i received a pack of Haribo sweets

I saw this last night at Greenwich, the cinema wasn't that full. The film wasn't my cup of tea as it was very violent but I enjoyed it as it was different to everything else I've seen recently, I would give it 7/10.
