Cinemas are tweeting like mad how fast screenings of The Artist (and Iron Lady) are selling out so I hope I'll still get a balcony seat at 6pm on Monday at the O2! Might be busy.

Just got this email from Sky:

We\'re very sorry that due to a change in the cinema schedules, we have had to cancel the Sky Superscreen showing of The Artist on Monday.

We will therefore be updating your tickets as cancelled on the ticketing system in order to allow you to book for another location should you wish to. If this was a film you particularly wanted to see, you may be able to book tickets at Streatham or Surrey Quays instead as a handful of seats are still remaining there.

If not then we\'d like to offer you priority tickets to one of our forthcoming films.

Please could you reply to this email by 5pm on Tuesday Jan 10th including in it:

Your booking ID:xxxxxxxxx
Your desired option from below (1, 2, or 3):

After this time, I\'m afraid we will not be able to accommodate any individual requests for tickets.

We\'re sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause to you.

Kind regards,

Sky Rewards

Crap, I never thought about that. I just rebooked for Surrey Quays though I have no idea where that cinema exactly is. I had to cancel the tickets myself though as they were still on the system. Liars.

Makes me wonder whether the cinema didn't simply decide they wanted to charge for The Artist instead of showing it for free, as it seems to be quite popular.
