Well I went to 8 previews with directors doing Q & A sessions in 2011 so they do grace us with their presence at times but I never thought Madonna would turn up.

I never for one moment thought she would go, but she gets so much bad press for her films, I thought maybe just for a change she would be brave and go to one of these Q&As to defend her film, as she clearly put in a lot of time and effort on this film (well compared to Swept Away I suppose)

hmm, I dont really hold much hope for a Ms Ciccone movie. Great pop singer, but crap at anything else shes ever done.

Surely this film must be a marked improvement on Swept Away?

As I remembered she supposedly helped Guy Ritchie with some directing on that film

Swept Away aha, currently 3.4 on the imdb. Theres a clue there somewhere perhaps. Ritchie needs all the help he can get, mind you.

ok, I shall reserve judgement till I see the film (for free).

I wonder if there's any Madonna fans on FMUK? I see on IMDB, she directed Filth and wisdom in 2008? Don't have a clue about that film, maybe some Madonna fan can enlighten us.
