Lol I'm popping around for late lunch to my best friend's new place on Sunday and she said she'd make me Shepherd's Pie (as I love SP) so she asked what I want with it and I said "gravy please" and she goes, "I don't serve that at my house, it's disgusting but I can serve it with baked beans if you like." I responded, " Image No thanks, salad would be just fine instead."

Hope I wasn't being "unobtrusive."

Baked beans with SP? Curious. Or is that just me?!

Gravy, yuk! I don't like wet food, unless it's meant to be wet, e.g. soup. Special venom reserved for people who submerge food in it without checking with the recipient first.

Take some Bisto best granuals - you can make your own gravy then. Not bad at a push, the best granuals, have saved many a 'dry' meal.
