For some weird reason my post in the premiere comp thread got deleted   so I'll post it again here.

There's an advert in today's metro saying if you turn up at the red carpet dressed as the woman in black you could win a ticket to go in

The reason I deleted it is because it's the same competition that superhero posted here: http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 32#p183032

There's been loads of websites promoting that particular competition about being there early blah blah blah and best dressed people win. I think one link is enough for this. If not, here's another two:

http://www.eatsleeplivefilm.com/win-a-p ... ere/14874/

http://www.lostinthemultiplex.com/newsr ... black.html

Looks like the same comp to me except different websites.

If I've read your post wrong and the competition is completely separate to this then please feel free to post again although I'm pretty sure it's referring to the same one as superhero.

We missed a comp in today's Metro, page 23, 5 pairs of tickets, just email, but you had to do it by 11am. Sorry for being a slow reader!

I've posted some photos from tonight's premiere over at my blog if anyone is interested (young girls under 18 mostly, I'd reckon).

Big thanks to Celini for the ticket and for dealing with my indecision so gracefully.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Dan isn't ageing well? what do you mean??? he still looks like he would be 15! (and that's the major issue of the movie)
How old is he anyway? I bet it took him 2 good weeks to grow this ridiculous stubble
(no offence to the less hairy boys on here)

If you look at the close up in soonforgottens link, his skin looks rather stretched and liney, think hes about 24/5

Even though I saw this nearly 2 months ago I can finally post my thoughts now the embargo has been lifted.

It's not nearly as scary as it thinks it is. It is quite obvious when the film is about to make you 'jump'. It's not bad, but not great either, just pretty underwhelming. I think Radcliffe is miscast as he looks too young and he doesn't display the emotional range the character requires. He seems to only have one expression. The film did feel quite gothic and the costumes, sets, cinematography etc were good. An OK film but not one I would watch again. 6/10.

do you know if the version you saw 2 months ago is the one that has been cut to make it a 12A? I know it was only 6 secs or whatever but it sounds like they tamed it down even more all to allow his fanbase to see the film.
