Lets hope the trailer isn't an indicator of how good the movie is. Trailer can often mislead

Re: Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Oh dear that was a terribly poor, cheesy, cliched, unimaginative, tedious kids film. Really bad.

Oh is it only an afternoon screening for the O2, everywhere else it's in the morning? (or I meant to say they've had theirs already)

Re: Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Well i really enjoyed it, my daughter who is 8 loved it and it made good use of the 3D for a change. A good older kids movie with plenty of action and the story was set at a good pace. 8/10 for us. We also met Yinster which is always lovely.

I wonder why the O2 is showing it in the afternoon instead?

Re: Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
This way interesting to say the least :3
Me and my OH came out picking points and all round deciding it was just a load of cods wallop!
Good fun for kids however I thought they 'sexualised' VH a bit too much for kids...
Loved her dad as the comedic relief, cringed as usual at Dwayne's acting.
Lead I couldnt connect with purely because all I could think of was Cirque Du Freak and how badly he acted :3 (not sure if i should hold out much hope for Hunger Games?)
Loved the island visuals and michael caine(but who doesnt?)
But over all would sum it up as a mindless stupid fun filled flick for kids.

Re: Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Yeah, what he said. What a mess of a film with dodgy CGI and superfluous use of 3D. I feel asleep half-way through. OH loved it though.David wrote:Oh dear that was a terribly poor, cheesy, cliched, unimaginative, tedious kids film. Really bad.
Nice to have so many FMUKers around us.
Most memorable? Erm, The Rock has nice white teeth.
Wouldn't download it if it came to Sky movies.
