I am indeed undercover, a combination of being monitored at work and being super busy at work. I really miss having the time to catch up more on the forum. It was good to see you again Jayman vx

Re: Man on a Ledge
At last, I managed to sit through a film without wanting to walk out. Not a 10 but head and shoulders over the last 3 I've seen. 7/10
We were early and OH only slept through the first 3 minutes. Good going for him.
Biggins, I never get to see / hear from any welsh fmukkers. I shall have to make some sort of effort and make an identifying scarf/hat ?

Also pleasantly surprised...andrews wrote:This film exceeded my lowly expectations - an average thriller with some good bits - nothing too memorable, but much better than last week's outing - (Like Crazy)
read a review about the story so was kinda knew what was going to happen.
Was waiting for the plot to unravel and once it did, more or less went on as expected
Not that bad, but didn't expect to be wow'd...
5/10
PS. was sat next to the most annoying couple ever. Chatted and talked through the entire movie and giggled and gaggled non-stop.

Yes, you mean the chap who was in Apollo 13, don't you, Beate? I thought he was looking terribly gaunt.Beate wrote:LOL, no, I know who Ed Burns is, I meant that older ugly one.Yinster wrote:Do you mean Ed Burns from The Holiday and 27 Dresses Beate?

Re: Man on a Ledge
Really enjoyed this, some of it was predictable but it still kept you on the edge of your seat.
The only nit picks I have are the 2 blatent continuity errors.
1-
The heat sensor which almost dripped onto one of the cops, was in the hallway not in the vault(they hadnt got the code for that door yet)
and 2-
Going into a vent on the ground(which on an over the head shot, you could see it was perfectly straight, no ups and downs), to come out of the ceiling...
Everyone in my screen cheered a certain onlooker near the end of the film
8/10 from me!

Re: Man on a Ledge
yeah the whole vault & corridors got me confused with all the walls being the same, would have helped if different rooms were in different colours, although maybe the continuity would have looked worse for it
