I went to Milton Keynes Cineworld last night and only about 40-50 people attended.

It was the second time I had seen the film, as I didn't really "get it" first time. This time I did and enjoyed it.

Although I think Colin Firth was miscast...thought that the first time too.

7/10 for me this time round.

I went to see this last night at the Glasgow cineworld unfortunately the film could not be shown and they offered us something else in it's place we wanted Woman In Black but it was full there wasn't really much else to choose from so we ended up watching Ghost Rider it was fun but not my thing lol

Saw this in Aberdeen last night. Pretty quiet screening.

This also made much more sense to me 2nd time around and I really enjoyed it.

Definitely made slightly more sense 2nd time around, but I think it would need a third - slightly closer apart. Felt tremendous pressure to concentrate throughout. Requires a lot of effort compared to most movies that you ride along with.

Still beige though!

I can't bear directors thinking they can create effects by using B+W or sepia tones (or that washed out lack of red/yellow - the name of which technique escapes me) to establish period settings. We see in technicolour - show us movies in this!

Same here so I watched the remake a few days ago. It was terribly dull and reconfirmed my dislike of all things Firth. A good film to lull you to sleep.
