Re: This Means War
I really enjoyed this, watching Tom Hardy wasn't too hard lol. I took my sister and we both had a few laugh out loud moments. 7.5/10 for me. Odeon Braehead actually asked for ID which was unusual and I had tickets from Yinster but explained that my friend had got me the tickets and they were fine.
Re: This Means War
Agree this was mindless entertainment but very glad to see funthing29, celini and a_person. The others sitting in our row were hysterical with laughter throughout-- I was not!

Hahaha, I was mentioning this to Celini afterwards "ejwrank doesn't look too impressed." You are lucky you didn't sit next to the girl who was next to me. She was almost deafening me with her laughter.
I agree, mindless entertainment but exactly the sort of film I needed last night. Nice to watch something which required no thinking. 8/10

Re: This Means War
Went to see this at Glasgow (Coatbridge, Baillieston, Bargeddie whatever you'd prefer) Showcase last night and firstly the move from one screen to another before the movie started didn't help. Secondly there seemed to be an awful lot of light from the back of the cinema, certainly more than usual, then the putting on the lights about 5 minutes before the end all help ruin any cinema going experience.
The movie itself was more than adequate, certainly not one for anyone looking for a major plot and extensive character back story. I took the boy who is 14 and we both enjoyed it for what it was, an enjoyable and light hearted almost action movie.

Re: This Means War
remind me next time I see you to bring Scenes of a Sexual Nature, he's so funny in it vxCelini wrote:Those eyes, and this smile... awwww... I was drooling over Tom Hardy for a good 90 minutes! And this is exactly what I needed!
(very) mindless fun as mentioned above, rather bad storyline and weird plot holes (I was wondering whether they were brothers as they seemed to have the same grand mother), but this was enough for me to spend a nice evening at the cinema (I really love the Apollo!) with the girls.
7.5/10
