Just wait until you see Singing In The Rain!

Then your top 3 musicals may need to be revised! ;)
I really hope so! I want to see something that blows me away again and not let the wait last until December (as I am sure I'll fall in love with American Idiot)

The comedy of errors at the NT tonight was superb. It was so well done. Really enjoyed it. c-t and her friend were in the same row and we had to passed her by to get to our seats. At the interval, I thought I just see where valda is and as I went to call she appeared in front of me! I am getting as good as Hans Klok! Thanks to cliveas for taking me and lovely to catch up with pcrock as well.

We were also at The Comedy of Errors but didn't spot any FMUKers there but figured there were some about so thanks for confirming pxc. We enjoyed it too.

Got seats in the dress circle and had a good view of the stage but I wonder if we had been in the stalls, the show might have been more spectacular. The vanishing acts (as others have mentioned) got repetitive especially with the long build ups and could have done with a little less dancing. Found myself looking forward to the acrobatic acts and wishing the dancers (and Hans) would hurry up.
The Jaws of Death failed miserably to snap at the climax of the act partly I suspect because the audience member broke Hans' straightjacket whilst strapping him in and disrupted the timing. Result: Clock ran down, Hans escaped from the straightjacket, plopped to the floor - easy peasy escape considering the fact that the jaws stayed open and cue autoclapping from a bemused audience. The curtain came down and I could hear sounds of crew arguing backstage and finally a snap sound. But Hans carried on like a trouper
My first time at magic show - glad I went for the experience which was cheesy fun but probably NOT going to another one for at least 10 years.

I loved the show tonight, I could easily watch it again tomorrow...if I had tickets that is. I was in the dress circle too, I was in C7, which seats were you in?
Was in row E behind you. We had a rail in front of us so my friend's young son had to sit on his mum's lap to look over the rail. Glad you enjoyed it! There've been lots more codes so hopefully you'll have another chance of going.

Hay Fever was absolutely brilliant!!! It is very witty, quirky and partly insane but very well produced.
The characters were excellent and well played.

It's now one of my top theatre experiences. (glad I didn't take notice of some earlier FMUK reviews as was tempted to shelve the idea of going)

Only disappointment was that it was too hot and a bit cramped. Shame being near the back, one had to really pin ones ears back to hear @ times!!!

We had a fantastic night at the national theatre comedy of errors.
I've never read or seen the play before and really enjoyed it. It did take me about 10 mins to get to understand the wOrds. But then it was fine.
Lovely theatre first time I've seen anything there and view from the circle was fantasic.the sears are really well planned!!
Lenny Henry was great. Didn't know he could act so well.

And at beginning they mentioned benedict cumberbatch. From Sherlock will be in the next nt live. Have to look out for that One. I love him.

They are showing the films of Frankenstein again -- Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller starred and took turns playing Frankenstein. They aren't doing the play again ansbro so sorry but you'll not be seeing Benedict live.

I also had a great time yesterday at the National Theatre. I'm not an English native speaker so I couldn't follow the play word for word, but at least I managed to get the general idea of what was going on. :D

Many thanks again to valda for taking me along with her and nice to catch up with the FMUKers that we bumped into!
