Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I got to the Noel coward theatre at 6.00 last night but they said I was too early and had to collect them from 6.30 onwards. I got mine at 630 but when we went back at 715 there were still people getting them then

Another question is how good is Hay Fever, I will have to get a train from portsmouth which will c*st around £16, is this worth it, I will spend the whole day in london though
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Um, there are differing opinions on Hay Fever.
If you read the last few pages, you will find reviews from people who thought it was fantastic.
Personally, I found it dull and unfunny.

If you'll be in London for a full day make the most out of it. Having a day away from your own city can be nice for change.jcolombi wrote:Another question is how good is Hay Fever, I will have to get a train from portsmouth which will c*st around £16, is this worth it, I will spend the whole day in london though
If you go to Hay Fever let us know what you think after you've seen it! I have tickets for next week, but not convinced yet I want to I go.

Well a lot of critics seemed to like Hay Fever and critics can sometimes be right (not all the time HAYWIRE
) and also a lot of people have liked it, so it seems that it will be OK!

I thought Singin In the Rain was tediously old fashioned, the set was not up to the standard of a West End show, the dancing wasn't in tune, the leads lacked charisma....I think I better stop there.
I was in the 3rd row of the stalls and yes the water splashing was very much a gimmick to wake up those who were falling asleep.... (saying that other people seem to like the show, they got a standing ovation at the end from everyone)
