Most people liked it and the 2nd half is shorter and better than the 1st half.

It is a wonderful show, and definitely worth seeing. I think the staging was fine for the story (though not as impressive as other productions), and I thought the leads had good chemistry.

It is definitely one of the weaker/smaller productions in the Palace theatre for many years. I don't envisage a long run for the show.

Its an old fashioned Musical from years ago so I guess it would be old fashioned. However for a Theatre that size you need a big old blockbuster of a show that will run and run. All I know about Singin in the Rain is just that one song, I've never seen the film. x

The ticket sales have been strong so I think it will run a while. It appeals to an older audience, whereas other types of musicals are aimed at families (Shrek, Matilda etc).

You may think you only know the title song, but you would probably recognise other songs from the musical, such as Make 'Em Laugh and Good Morning.
