I loved the IS review, simple, truthful.

As this is the first time I will have gone to a free screening, can anyone tell me if there is a certain time to turn up (i.e. an hour before) or if you can be there earlier than that?

Thanks

about 15 mins before would be good for this screening, it will get packed in the queue, but generally 5 mins before is fine for not so popular films.

Never after the time stated lol. bad memories.

Huh. I would say turn up at least half an hour before and in this case I expect strong interest so turn up earlier if you can.

If it says on the ticket 7:30 for 8pm or something similar (I don't know, no screening near me) ... that means they'll start letting people in at 7:30pm and it'll start promptly at 8pm. If you get there before 7:30pm you might have to queue or hang around waiting, it all depends where you are, I think Londoners get there early whereas as I get there 15mins before.

Make sure you have a ticket printout and amex card. If you don't have an Amex card (and they happen to be checking for them) then you might have to wait at one side and be allowed in after cardholders.

Most other SFF screenings aren't Amex events, just this one.
