I went to see The King's Speech tonight with my friend, but the man at the box office said there isn't enough ticket for showfilmfirst memebers and he could only gave me one ticket even though it's TWO on my ticket! So I had to leave with my friend. That's really ridiculous!!!

Depends when you got there? There really is no guarantee, even at SFF film screenings, that you will get in as it's first come first served.

I got there at ten past seven. I can't see why they offer extra tickets on the website if there's no guarantee. And I've never met this problem before.

Unfortunately it says on the tickets 'Terms and conditions No late admission. Strictly first come first served. Admissions are at the manager's discretion. Full terms and conditions can be found at: http://www.showfilmfirst.com' Normally for a show that starts at 19.30 you are expected to arrive between 18.30 - 19.00, so at 10 past you were cutting it quite fine.

I hope you get another opportunity to see the show.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Thank you. I didn't know that I should get there between 6.30 to 7 to collect the tickets. Yeah. It must be my fault. :crying:

It's not your fault. It's very unusual, most shows they give tickets out to have plenty of tickets left. I would struggle to remember the last time this happened, maybe RoA.

I think I remember someone said it happened on one of the nights at Houdini too, but Superhero is right, it doesn't happen that often, hopefully some more tickets will come up if it's something you really want to see.

It usually happens because people exploit the SFF ticketing system with duplicate print outs and the box office staff don't ask for ID.
