Despite not being a huge fan of horror films, I was keen to see this. Found the first part very intriguing as you did not quite know where it was leading to. The premises for the story are ordinary enough- five friends go to spend the weekend in a spooky house in the woods- but the novelty comes from the way the material has been rearranged. I have to say that for me the humour was a relief from all the gore and blood. Overall I thought this was an innovative tongue in cheek horror comedy with a great twist.

Many thanks to prettyxcool and Beate for coming to my rescue while queuing. Much appreciated. o/ Beate I’m glad you stood your ground as you had not left any spaces. It's always first come first served and people should understand that if they are late they have to take whatever seats are left!

Because a surprising amount of people are actually scared to death of clowns.
And don't forget Pennywise from Stephen King's "IT".
She wasn't a whore, no. But they made her one in order to complete the ritual. At the start they talked about how they added some cognitive brain function reduction chemicals to her hair dye and then gassing her with pheromone smoke. Without that then yeah she would've been a normal girl. She wouldn't have been made into her horror movie persona and the ritual couldn't have been one
yeah at the start
the virgin was just getting over having been dumped by her teacher who'd she'd had sex with. They said everyone had been manipulated into their 'roles' but I didn't get that once the scientists started being killed that they didn't count towards the blood count... 'the fool' is an easy role for them to apply to any of them. it seems only the randomly 'chosen ones' had to die.

Also note that when "the virgin" was talking to "the scholar" she at one point mentioned she was a virgin, before correcting herself. They must've been manipulating her into this role at that stage.
Something else I just thought of: the poster doesn't resemble the film at all!
There is no flying cabin that is three different layers that can move like a rubix cube (at least that's what the poster looks like to me), unless it's resembling the elevator cubicles?
yeah I think the poster is just to imply that's it's more than a simple cabin in the woods. I like it, reminds me of an Escher print.

The poster is symbolic of the different layers and permutations of the various cabin scenarios.
