I can definitely see Josh Holloway (aka Sawyer from LOST) playing the villain in the Hollywood remake.
LOL if you're going for look-a-likes I still think the lead looks like a young Christopher Walken or Steve Buscemi but they'd have to turn back the clock a bit to cast them... or Steve Buscemi could work as a slightly older version.

Yep, subtitles failed at the O2 Sky screening so saw Hunger Games for free instead. :)

Steve Buscemi as the hero? That would certainly be a first.
He'd be awesome though. :)

There was also the receptionist from the office. I hadn't noticed until it was pointed out at the end of the film. And those pens that were on our seats played a crucial part in the plot!

The female lead was very impressive when you consider that she wasn't a trained actress at all. She was a film critic that the leading man knew and suggested for the part when they couldn't find anyone else suitable.

I am not having any luck with trying to see this movie. I had an opportunity to see it at the Jameson preview last week but my friend and I failed to be the first lot accepted in the screening but we got a shot of whiskey out of it and then headed to a pub.

I was at the O2 screening this time (got there 1 hour early as I did a 10k run to it, and needed time to towel up and change etc). So they start the film and I straight away realised they are not showing subtitles, so I went to the staff member to tell them and they said they will get it restarted. 20 minutes later they were still showing the film without subtitles! No one was coming in to update us so I and many others went out to find out. Then they said wait another 15 minutes for the film to restart. So I went back in. By now half the audience seem to have left. Altogether waited 45 mins. Then some fella came in to apologise and said if he cant get HH up in 5mins he will play Hunger Games. At this everyone cheered (except me, I've seen it!). 5mins later he returned and said bad news, he cant get the subtitles to play with Headhunters. Everyone cheered at this failure because most of the audience would prefer Hunger Games anyway, lol. But of course I had seen that already so I ended up getting a cinema voucher.

What's more PXC sorted both of these screenings out for me! I know neither worked out but thanks being so kind to sort them out for me in the first place!

I wonder why is fate preventing from seeing this film!? Just makes me more determined to see it now.

You've virtually had the same experience as me, as I also missed the Jameson screening & was really stressed out by the incredibly poor customer service of staff at the O2 yesterday. They were flapping about like chickens with their heads cut off & taking far too long to make decisions about getting the subtitles sorted etc...One of the "managers" actually took off his name badge when he came back after people were asking him what was going on. I'm also determined to see this film & luckily there are quite a few opportunities to do so. Hope you get sorted as well :).

Really enjoyed this film kept me interested throughout. Seemed like a deja vu from Cabin in the Woods with the CCTV watching them and then another eerie woodland cabin.
Lovely to see that Yogi was using his new silk Proposal purse in its leather pouch, nice to see winners appreciating their prize :giggle:

I really enjoyed this, not too predictable and plenty of twists - hope they dont make an american version as they always spoil them.

The girl at Lothian Road in Edinburgh last night twice told us all to move up and not leave any spaces as there were more people to come- but nobody else arrived not even latecomers!! It was only about half full and when the film started and the subtitles came up one couple left followed over the next twenty minutes by a few others.

A very good film spoilt by the female just along from us who crunched loudly on a massive bag of crisps!!! :wall: Just as well it was subtitled as would never have heard the dialogue!

A few cringe moments but some unexpected laughs in this film and enjoyed it much more than I expected. 8/10

LOL, if I'd known that I would have come to the O2 yesterday as I ended up watching The Hunger Games anyway, but with a voucher!
