one problem might be J-Law, shes going to look way too old to play a teenage heroine by the end of the series, though she is blessed/cursed with exceptionally youthful features.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I don't see the problem Raj. It's a year later in the second book, so both Katniss and Lawrence will have aged a year

I agree. What I think will be more of a change is that since Katniss is older, everyone else gets older as well. I'd say they'll cast Finnick and Johanna closer to 30 (can I bring this up in this thread or should I wait for someone to create a Catching Fire one?)

Nope. Was offered choice of any other film playing as way of compensation. This is the normal I believe. Seen this before. Wanted to see it again. Is good.

I loved this film, best I've seen this year but i didn't like the ending. It was just too cheeseball.

for that reason it gets an 8.5-10 o/

Just saw this again. Enjoyed it much better with some distance between reading the book and watching it. Still some glaring differences and I can't help but feel the film is lacking slightly. OH really enjoyed it and remarked that he saw Donald Sutherland in London the other week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Finished the books last week. First book is the best, for me. Am looking forward to seeing the next two films.

Finihed reading all the books while away :), same as anakin, first one is my fave, though i do love the second, the third seems a bit too up in the air, and i think the ending needed to be more dramatic and satisfying rather than what we're given!

However, saw the film twice while away, and going to see it tonight too!

I was waiting for Ant and Dec to leap out of the Jungle.

:giggle:

I still can't get over Caesar flcikerman's face, oh his face :bwl:

Im highly anticipating the next one, the script is going to need A LOT of work to fit all the action in though as well as the mechanics behind it and what's going on on the outside I think will prove very important to understanding the whole shabam, shame about the news that Gary Ross won't continue :/
