Re: Headhunters
Really liked this, although it seemed a little far fetched at times, it did keep me engaged and I was willing our anti-hero on, despite it being quite hard to like him at all. Darkly comedic in places, it just got it right for me. Glad I got the opportunity to see this. 9/10.

Re: Headhunters
Eventually got to see "Headhunters" on Sunday morning at one of my favourite cinemas, Greenwich Picturehouse. Fingers were crossed that afterall the Sky screening at the 02 the subtitles would work.
An adaption of a Jo Nesbo novel, who seems to always be in the top ten best sellers, it’s a crime thriller, with a sense of dark comedy and the absurd and ends up as a chick flick. Let’s be clear its one of the best films of the year so far. The plot centres on Roger Brown, a corporate head-hunter and art thief, holding a string of secrets. But with his latest target his watertight method goes drastically wrong. And in one swift move the hunter becomes hunted it a highly entertaining game of cat-and-mouse. I will not give more away, as it will just spoil it for you.
This has the potential of a Hollywood remake stamped all over it.
Right, who shall we cast in the lead? He has to be short, a false self inflated opinion of themselves and is intimidated by tall blonde women. Call off the search....has anyone got Tom Cruise's number?

Re: Headhunters
Finally finished my review for this. I've such a backlog. But yeah, saw this at the Jameson screening and loved it (thankfully I was able to some how snag front row seats because we wouldn't have been able to see anything sitting further back). This is right up my alley.

Re: Headhunters
Excellent film. Best film I have seen in the last year. Clever plot and the tension kept going right till the end.
Although if I really wanted a job and the recruiter was a bit crooked, simply bribing them might have involved a lot less bother! Still that would have made for a very short film.

Re: Headhunters
Saw this today (free with complimentary ticket)
I had no expectations of this film other than being of art theft. Clever how they kept you guessing and I am still a bit confused.
Loved the set-up then it all changed.
Some shocking bits and some funny moments.
Funny bits: gun shot errection to kill Lotte, cameras watching Ove n Prostitute, Ove still alive when thrown in the lake. Yuk: Roger in toilet cesspit.
It ended a bit too quickly/suddenly as I was getting in to it.
Questions
Q. Was Diana a red herring when she appeared just after Ove was bundled in the boot? Clever how she changed some of the bullets in Clas Greves gun.
Q. What was the set up, Roger being tracked ? (clue there that Clas Greve was an expert tracker)
Q. What type of company was Pathfinder??
