Suprsingly good, and like others I'm glad I didn't know too much of what it was about beforehand! Great idea, a bit daft but sooo much fun :-)

I Am a bit of a Joss Whedon fan so this film was right up my street, scary in places, funny in others overall well worth the watch
the cinema screwed up the film a bit,the projector projected the film right of centre so a portion of the film was projecting on the curtain

Re: The Cabin in the Woods
I can't understand how cinemas can be so incompetent sometimes. I mean how hard can it be to project a beam of light at a flat screen. Time and time again I read of or experience cock ups. I never cease to be surprised by it.Gareth19791 wrote:I Am a bit of a Joss Whedon fan so this film was right up my street, scary in places, funny in others overall well worth the watch

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

Re: The Cabin in the Woods
i think its down to most cinemas these days not having a projectionist per say,as Mark Kermode says its a dying breed, which is a shamestuartboy wrote:I can't understand how cinemas can be so incompetent sometimes. Re: The Cabin in the Woods
What was all that !! WOW! WOW! WOW!
It was fantastic, some laughs n jumps, yet enough gore to push the "15" cert
to make it a plausible horror movie!
Brilliant idea with unexpected twists. Never expected it to turn out the way it did! (almost not bothering to go as thought might be the usual tripe)
Odeon Covent Garden was packed, nice big screen for a weird L shaped room.

Re: The Cabin in the Woods
I saw this last night and really enjoyed it, But I'm glad I didn't watch any trailers or read any reviews before I saw it. The ones I've seen since revealed far too much.
