thinking of the theme of only one surviving in these movies, its almost like Skins, the entire cast except one dissappears at the end of the series/story to be replaced by a new set of Skins/HGers lol.

Except the entire cast doesn't disappear, just those in the arena (leaving people like Prim, Haymitch, Gale, Effie, president Snow, etc). 
I've never seen Skins though.

You should see Season 1 of Skins before you get too old for it, its free on 4oD now. Pure magic, but it loses it in subsequent seasons.

Haha I think I'm already too old for it, the concept just doesn't appeal to me at all.
