thinking of the theme of only one surviving in these movies, its almost like Skins, the entire cast except one dissappears at the end of the series/story to be replaced by a new set of Skins/HGers lol.

Clearly I've not read the books (yet).

Except the entire cast doesn't disappear, just those in the arena (leaving people like Prim, Haymitch, Gale, Effie, president Snow, etc). :p

I've never seen Skins though.

oh I see. well you keep correcting me, ta, my Hungry Game teacher.

You should see Season 1 of Skins before you get too old for it, its free on 4oD now. Pure magic, but it loses it in subsequent seasons.
