We got there way early (6.40 for a 7.30 start) but there was surprisingly already quite a queue outside of the cinema (and paps). And by the time they let us in (7pm) it was snaking all around the block, crazy! They were being very strict with the tickets checking them both against ID and the guest list and the person in front of me was actually pulled out of the queue as they weren't on the guest list. From what I heard they had to wait until everyone else on the list was inside before they could go in. But as there were still some empty seats left in the theatre in the end I assume everyone got in.

The screening started slightly late as the cast were delayed, but they were worth waiting for as nearly everyone was there! Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, and even Stifler's Mom: Jennifer Coolidge. And I'm sure I'm missing some people as there was a crazy amount at the front. They were all being briefly interviewed and the moderator made a hilarious mistake when introducing Eddie which had everyone else making fun of him for the duration of the introduction (I made a video of it, haven't had a chance yet to check if it turned out okay though).

As for the film itself, I enjoyed a lot. Surprisingly. I normally don't like crude teenage humour but this wasn't as bad as some of the stuff that gets made nowadays (hear me sounding like an old lady!) and most of it made me laugh a lot. There were heaps of references to the first film (probably the sequels too, but I've never seen them) and great use of the changes the past decade has brought both the characters and the world in general (mobile phones, etc).

I was lovely to see Tilly too, even though I completely walked past her at first as I am clearly blind!

8.5/10

Great great fun!! Thoroughly enjoyed. Admittedly, the momentum did slow down towards the end but still hilarious! And this from someone who hardly liked the first, hated the second and thought the third just decent.

As mentioned above, the stars were great entertainment themselves. I'll forever remember Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) as the guy the KISS lady introduced by asking the audience "Are there any single guys out there?" LOL!!!! That was damn funny and the way Jason Biggs kept ripping on him was pure gold!!!

Some pics for you guys. Apologies, the lighting was pretty poor.

Thank you :) Wish I was sitting closer.
I thought they'd warn us about flash photography and what not, but nothing.
They didn't even bother taking our phones.

Well, most of the cast members were certainly surprised that there were so many empty seats! Shame, but they managed to make a joke out of it!

Can only remember seeing the first film and bits of the second. I have to admit I laughed quite a lot with this one and the fact that most of them turned up to present the film was a great bonus. It was all very humorous as befitted the film. I have to say that out of the whole lot the one that looks most different is Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas). I hardly recognised him at first!

Great Pics Jayman o/ My battery was too low for me to take any photos so I'm really happy to see that you managed to get some very good pics, they are a nice reminder of how good the night was o/ I must admit that I was never a huge fan of the other American Pie movies but I really enjoyed this one :D
