How: b*y National Rail ticket and print vouchers. The key here is you need to print a voucher AND have a valid rail ticket for the same day. Yet it’s still often worth doing this even if you’re not travelling by train – a cheap single ticket is available for a couple of quid, far cheaper than the entry ticket price.

So just stop by the nearest station on your way and pick one up. Then present both to get your 2for1.

Step 1: b*y a code for £5. Via daily deals site LivingSocial from 5am Fri 20 Apr till 4.59am Mon 23 Apr 2012.

You'll be emailed a code from LivingSocial when the link goes live. That gets you 1,000 Boots Advantage Card points (worth £10 in store).


Step 2: b*y something from Boots Treats Street, min £1. Once you have your code, go to Boots Treat Street and choose a retailer to b*y from, eg, Matalan, Dorothy Perkins, iTunes, eBay.

Select a retailer and a pop-up will appear asking for a Treat Street promotional code. Insert your LivingSocial code and make a p*rchase. There's a minimum £1 spend so you could b*y two iTunes songs to get the deal. You have up until 22 Jul 2012 to use the code on Treat Street.


Step 3: Collect & spend points in-store. 35 days after you’ve made your p*rchase you can go, in-store to spend the points. You’ll need to visit an Advantage kiosk first to load the points onto your card. When you registered on Treats Street you'll have put your Boots card number in so it'll recognise you.


The detail: One code per person. If you try to add more than one code, it won't work.

If you return the items b*ght on Treat Street or cancel your order, the 1,000 points will be cancelled, unless you make another Treat Street p*rchase before Fri 22 Jul 2012 (the system should remember your code until then).
