I meant how lucky are the people! World premiere for Elfie and then Marvel premiere! They probably go to premieres more than normal screenings!

My fingers are crossed, I've entered lots of comps for MAA :cross:
Very annoying that I missed out on Sky tickets when they were available, I could not book as I had already booked tickets for Elfie Hopkins and by the time I had cancelled them the MAA tickets had gone

It burns doesn't it? We should be happy for other people yet its not happening to us. Selfish+Selfless=internal explosion.

I mean that "I won" thread makes me sad every time i walk inside

But I know the people make a lot of effort so it's all well deserved! o/

Don't waste your time with Elfie, just rent Delicatessen and go to the Avengers when you can, that one is good!

Thanks to pcx for taking me as her plus one. However this film was dire. I haved no idea what was the age group it was aimed at nor could I work out what decade it was set in. I hated the name Elfie (alfie) I hated her dreary miserable face, and her completely forgettable companion. The support actors were so much better and I liked the family next door.

3/12 for twins clothes and for seeing John Simm in the screeing. (would have been 4/10 if he had replied to my tweet) :shifty:
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I enjoyed the premiere. No red carpet, but as we waited outside for the twitter comp lady for our premiere tickets Ray Winstone turned up and I managed to chat and get a photo with him before the pap saw him and surrounded him! :P

Most of the seats in the screening room from the front row to about three rows from the back were reserved, so we sat in those unreserved back rows. There were popcorn and water on the seats. Nice to see valda, funthing, celini, bevvy, 5rannoch, MariaLionza and soonforgotten.

We had a short intro with Jaime Winstone gushing how nervous she was.

After the film, also chatted with Will Payne (the twin son) who was George Harrison in Backbeat! We had a lovely chat and I also got a photo with him, which he kindly took, as we were kind of alone!

What can I say about the film, quite boring start, but I was quite captivated by Jaime, perhaps, she looked so much like her father, Ray Winstone, but obviously a female version. Then it got quite gruesome! A very bizarre story, and quirky in a strange way. 6/10

Elfie Hopkins has now been rated '15'!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
