I also saw this at the slackers club screening in Stratford picture house. Initially, there was constant talk and interruption, before the perpetrators thankfully left. The film was enjoyable, although not anything really special (even if I'm a massive fan of Segel's talents) and the Duplass brothers extreme zooms weren't exactly essential. Here's my review:

I went along to the Slackers club at Brixton's Ritzy on Thursday. A quirky, watchable film. Nothing special by any means, but it's always good to see Susan Sarandon and at 90mins you won't get too bored.

Re: Jeff Who Lives At Home
Saw this in Edinburgh this morning. About 60% full.
Slow burner of a film and I was urging it to move along a wee bit faster than it did in the first half hour.
After it got going it appealed to me more and I enjoyed it and the ending.
6.5/10 from me.

Re: Jeff Who Lives At Home
I still don't understand how Edinburgh got a Picturehouse members' preview but no one else did.
Re: Jeff Who Lives At Home
Short, amusing and undeniably quirky. Jason Segel can do no wrong.
The Cineworld at the O2 was probably the emptiest it's been yet.
I guess the usual patrons were in the Arena checking out AMeiZING.

SEGEL, Jason SEGEL. Please!

The trailer killed a bit my expectations, and the film itself... well... it's ok. Not as good as I thought, but not bad, with a good idea an moral.
A bunch of actors I like and re-discovered (Susan <3), but a role too easy for Segel... he needs a bigger challenge!

Back from Braehead sitting next to my friends, McG with teddybear01 and OH and ploggit in front of us. Film started late yet finished on time. Go figure! Tries to be this quirky, slow burner of a film. A few LOL moments but not many. Average and so obvious with the wee twists. Also actually thought the film would be about how he gets kicked out of his parental home but it wasn't anything to do with that.
Did not recognise Rae Dawn Chong as Carol. Used to love her in the 80's in Commando and American Flyer. 5/10

Re: Jeff Who Lives At Home
Saw this at Wester Hailes tonight. Disappointing to say the least. Three folks walked out, was tempted but stayed hoping it got better. Did not really.
Saw the plot with the mother coming and like Alythonian kept hoping it would get going but sadly did not for me.
Highlight of the evening was seeing Stuartboy
Afraid 2.5/10 from us, so an improvement on The Raid

Was interesting to see a half empty cinema tonight and indeed 3 walk-outs. Contrast this to last week and a full Cameo (Slacker's Club) and round of applause from the students at the end. I wouldn't have said this was a particularly student film. Clearly I am wrong.
I still liked it - not hugely, mind you, but interesting enough. The dialogue is better than The Artist after all!

Re: Jeff Who Lives At Home
While I like Jason Segel, I found this quite dull and uninspiring. The comedic moments were few and far between. It felt long even though it was a short film. I expected a lot but I just didn't like it much. Think I would have been more interested to see how their stories played out after the
motorway rescue scene
but by that point I was beyond wanting it to continue any further. 4.5/10.
