I found the script abysmal, the rest was good... shame that scripts take such a large place in a film

Well, this was my first premiere. We had to wait quite a long time but at least we had the live feed of all the stars doing the interviews and the signing to keep us entertained. The stars all came in briefly before the start of the film and everybody then went happy snappy, with quite a few girls shouting "Kristen I/we love you". Didn't realise she had such a strong female fanbase!

I was looking forward to seeing the film, which I found visually stunning, but there was something lacking. The weak script certainly did not help.

So the red carpet affair was definitely all on the Empire side, those with tickets to the Odeon, were not given a look in really. We loitered around on the Odeon side with a load of others, the security did not even bother to move us on, until it was almost time to be seated, as they obviously knew the stars were in no way coming over! Abysmal. So we were all seated by 6.45pm as stated, and waited till 7.30pm before the red carpet footage was over with some highlights, then we were thanked for waiting patiently, and the cast was introduced. Most of the dwarfs (bar two), the prince, the huntsman, Queen Ravenna and Snow White showed up. One of the dwarfs, Bob Hoskins, was not here, as he had gone to the one in Bangkok or somewhere in the Far East, as a joke played on him, supposedly. In a flash, they all left the stage.

I really enjoyed the film, thought it was absolutely brilliant and breathtaking, did not care much about the acting - but I thought the scenery/sets/designs/costumes were stunning. I cannot get enough of Chris Hemsworth either! Thought the dwarfs were under utilised though. An epic with Snow White kicking ass, and reminded me of Joan of Arc. :D

I thought when they tweeted pics of people camping outside Empire this morning that all the action might be there.... shame

I supposed they deserved all the action on the Empire side, since they had been camping there. But pity they did not think of all the other fans on the Odeon side. Presumably, we can't complain as we got tickets! :P

Maybe that's why not many people bothered going to Haymarket this morning....
