Timeout are offering 2 for 1 on Guns n Roses tickets for Manchester (£45) and 1 June at the O2 London (£50), so good chance for SFF again I would of thought as obviously not selling if they are having to offer like this.......wonder why........ apparently they got on stage at 22.50 at Nottingham!

According to friends and people on twitter they didn't come on stage in Liverpool last night till 11.10pm and finished around 2am! Good set length but way to go to annoy people!Rainey wrote:Timeout are offering 2 for 1 on Guns n Roses tickets for Manchester (£45) and 1 June at the O2 London (£50), so good chance for SFF again I would of thought as obviously not selling if they are having to offer like this.......wonder why........ apparently they got on stage at 22.50 at Nottingham!

two for £50 haha they will be lucky, good for you to post it though, thank you.
I remember the last time they came to the o2, we all missed the last twenty minutes to catch the last train out of there. I might stay this time if we get tickets.

Well I need to get back to Wimbledon yonder, but I like to finish every month with something completely different, so working out the night buses or even wandering london till dawn would be an different way to sign out of the month on.
Makes you feel like you've done something really special, to greet the dawn once in a while.

Thanks raj, now your making me feel old, it's been a long while since I tackled night buses or waited for the first train, it's a good job my mother never knew what the teenage me got up to!raj101 wrote:Well I need to get back to Wimbledon yonder, but I like to finish every month with something completely different, so working out the night buses or even wandering london till dawn would be an different way to sign out of the month on.

However, it's seems GnR have been getting later and later each night, so you never know, by the time they get to the last date at the O2 they may just actually be finishing as the trains start running!

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
yeah getting in at 4am felt pretty cool lol. Pity we all need the p*y packet more than the peer points these days. Can do without a pulmonary embolism too lol.
Waiting for the dawn reminds me of university digs more than anything else. And of course wasting valuable life time, its counterproductive to stay up all night even if it feels cool when you've just left home.
while for me too. Perhaps they will turn up so late they will be early for the previous day lol.Rainey wrote:Thanks raj, now your making me feel old, it's been a long while since I tackled night buses or waited for the first train, it's a good job my mother never knew what the teenage me got up to!raj101 wrote:Well I need to get back to Wimbledon yonder, but I like to finish every month with something completely different, so working out the night buses or even wandering london till dawn would be an different way to sign out of the month on.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Interesting to see the Sunshine Boys reviews, will still try and give it a go but perhaps not as exciting as I thought!
Not a freebie, but a cheapie, went to see Posh at Duke of York's this weekend and thought it was really good, so if any tickets come up I recommend it. Although it is fairly offensive and sweary, but really good cast and well written (bar one odd scene) so worth seeing I think.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Got to see The Sunshine Boys last night, and were lucky enough to be seated in the stalls. It was fairly entertaining, the Neil Simon play itself is now a little dated, but was nonetheless the sort of play that you go to see for a few laughs and a not too challenging night at the theatre. DeVito was good, as was Griffiths, although personally I thought that the best performance was by Johnnie Fiori, who played DeVitos's nurse. The show was spoilt slightly by the incessant chatter of a group sitting behind us, but the woman next to me asked them to stop, and they seemed to pipe down a bit then. I would recommend people to go and see it, if you want to see Devito doing his best angry little man performance, but don't expect it to be as laugh-out-loud funny as something like Noises Off. 6/10.
