At least the movie was good. It was predictable but good. Kids will like it. I thought the end bit of 1969 was rather touching. Surprisingly, the 3D was also very well done - did not hurt the eye at all. Beate missed out.

Re: Men in Black III
It did something similar at Baker Street sh. I wish I took the Metropolitan line instead.

I haven't missed out. I have plenty of vouchers to see this! But first I need to catch Avengers Assemble. PH Greenwich have finally decided to show the 2D version again, yay.

Re: Men in Black III
well I got slightly stuck in the Metropolitan too
get your shit together TFL!
to go back on our screening; it was actually the opening of the VueXtreme (or whatever they call it) at Finchley Road and I don't understand why people would p*y more to see a film on a bigger screen, when said film hasn't been shot in the format of the bigger screen... leaving a god 1.5m black stripes on both sides
same happened when they screened African Cats at the SuperScreen O2

Re: Men in Black III
Avengers Assemble is AWESOME. Can't believe you haven't watched that yet. Disgusted. And 3D for that is a waste, 2D is definitely the way to go.
And yeh, you did miss out!

How full was the screening? I understand it was a regular screening that people could p*y good money for?Celini wrote:to go back on our screening; it was actually the opening of the VueXtreme (or whatever they call it) at Finchley Road and I don't understand why people would p*y more to see a film on a bigger screen, when said film hasn't been shot in the format of the bigger screen...

Got to remember that not everyone knows about free screenings so p*ying is the way to go for some.

Re: Men in Black III
I did think of swopping to the Metropolitan line, but they did announce the power failure was at Finchley Road, so I didn't bother. I would have missed at least 1/2 hr.
I knew I should have driven my batmobile instead.

Re: Men in Black III
All the seats right in front of the screen (at least a good 5-7 rows) were completely empty. The rest of the screen was quite full with empty one seaters here and there but with only a very few p*ying customers. The majority had a print out. Surprising considering how quick those tickets went and unable to get any. Most people must have got some today (like me) when others cancelled theirs.Beate wrote: How full was the screening?
