Well it certainly didn't come from me because I've still got it!!! ;)

Join in and hopefully we will both have lost a stone by the end of the summer. :cross:
Now there's a challenge! Its actually two stone for me because I already had a stone to loose before the mystery stone appeared!!
Time to actually use that app I downloaded 'couch potato to 5K in 6 weeks'. So far I've only done the couch potato bit.
Welcome and I'm in the same boat I had just over a stone to lose and then an extra 10lbs due to too much socialising  Any tips you have will be most welcome.

Gosh, really! ......I wonder where she gets that from

Ahem....yes..... Well, I did a 6 mile bike ride today (some sections were quite hilly - 500 ft ascent and descent and sustained - to the point where had to get off and walk some of the uphill bits before my lungs exploded) plus I did an additional fairly relaxed pace 1.5 mile walk again with fairly steep ascent and descents. Brill views throughout and the weather held up long enough to avoid a soaking. It's chucking it down here now though.

Back on healthyish eating track again. Special K for breakfast with semi skimmed milk.(??? cals) Made a massive salad of assorted leaves, grated carrot and celeriac, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, mange toute, black and green olives, red/green and orange peppers, Lamb kofka kebab, with redpepper and chilli humous. (650ish cals) Started eating it for lunch al fresco and had a second go to finish it off later on around dinnertime with a tuna and cucumber sandwich (321 cals). Have also had Vietnamese rice paper rolls stuffed with prawns, vermicelli noodles, carrot, lettuce leaves and coriander with sweet chilli sauce (184 cals) for supper this evening.

Well that's another mega bank holiday / jubillee day break stint well and truly over now. We seem to have been getting loads of these Bank Holiday things recently don't we? Hmmm.. :shifty: two in the space of less than a week - Why that's almost as often as certain folk's treat days ;)

Be good everyone! :D

I don't know what you're talking about

What a fabulous exercise regime and menu of the day - very healthy Preston o/ I don't know why I'm being pleasant to you after all the above digs

Menu of the day:
Special K and black coffee (300 calories)
Jacobs savours, pate, cucumber followed by a Cadbury's light mousse and a raspberries (350 calories)
Vegetable curry made with broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions, tinned tomatoes, garlic and then loads of cumin, chilli and curry powder with wholemeal rice (I have to work out the calories still)

I will do my DVD tonight and a 2 mile brisk walk.

Good luck with the weigh-in today Biggins o/

WooHoo! Well Done Biggins, that's great news o/ :cheer: :cheer:

I'm just about to start another session on my newly acquired dual-action trainer. But first I must get in character.............

♫ ♫ ♫

"Chim chiminey
Chim chiminey
Chim chim cher-ee!
A sweep is as lucky
As lucky can be

Chim chiminey
Chim chiminey
Chim chim cher-oo!
Good luck will rub off when
I shake 'ands with you
Or blow me a kiss
And that's lucky too

No where is there
A more 'appier crew
Than them wot sings
"Chim chim cher-ee
Chim cher-oo!"

(¯`*•.¸♥♫ ♫ ♫

Have a great day everyone - And drink lots of water!
