decent olympix film, cant complain but it dont set the bar all that high for sports movies this year. Lenora makes the jump to the big screen with aplomb. But they need to get some facts straight. no way skinny model blondie is ever gonna be faster than a black athlete, its not race talk, its a sprint, sista u get me. oh yeah and we loved kikking the seats of two biiiitches in front of us, bro. uh no not really.

Verdict - solid silver medal
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

RAj101 you crack me up! Honestly they were so annoying. Even worse than kicking the seats, they were jumping up and slamming their hands on the seats in front of them or too the sides of them. naturally I was too scared to tell them to be quiet

Film was ok, for me, it should have been like a mini series on after Eastenders. As Ejwrank said, there were no surprises, you knew exactly what was going to happen, which was a shame.
In the battle of the TV stars, Leonora was so much better than Bradley. I think he needs his Merlin to spar off :P

Hi all! Just back from seeing this one. Have to say, I really enjoyed it! The icing on my cake was the border terrier named Linford but I digress. The cinema was barely full and the female in front of me spent most of her time texting (slap) but there was none of that seat kicking going on (at least, she never said anything ;-) ) I think the thing that bugged me most about this movie was the way Shania (Lenora) spoke. She talks properly in Being Human so hearing her speak.....street, I guess for want of another term.........sounded odd

    Would definitely watch it again!

Seen this again (kinda by mistake - had hoped someone else would want to see it) as part of a double-header tonight. I always feel that a later screening ie one that is at a time when most normals go to cinema is a treat worth grabbing.
I can't believe we were in a large cinema in Edinburgh but they managed to attract a total of 9 bods. What a shame no-one else came. Is a good film.

Saw this at Shaftesbury Avenue this evening, prompt start at 9am. Probably about 15 people in our screening. Had to swap the First4Movies tickets for proper tickets so had to queue behind people b*ying popcorn and the like, and the person in front was counting his pennies - he had then stacked all across the counter, and eating his sweets that he had just b*ght as if we had all day!

I loved this film. Just lovely, sugary sweet and heartwarming, very predictable, but I was enthralled, and willing them to win the Gold. So topical at the moment, and I can't wait to go and watch the games for real at the Olympics, even more! 9/10

Saw this in Southampton and was only about 10% full. I had a feeling it was going to be almost empty judging by the amount of time it took the cinema staff to exchange the print out for a ticket.....clearly they had not had much practice working the till for previous customers.
I'd give the film 5/10. It was probably more suited to a TV film or a two part drama. It was fairly predictable, can't say I would encourage friends to rush and see it.
