If it helps: I thought there were some wonderful 3D shots in there, but I'd probably still won't p*y for a steep Imax 3D price to see it like that again (I'd see it in 3D for free again though, haha)

Does anyone else think that it's strange that this is being released on a tuesday?
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I was at the regional premiere at 02 too. Arrived at about 5.50pm and was told the balcony was already full so joined the front of the queue downstairs. Thank you so much to ejwrank for helping me out and saving me seats, when I had a dilemma with my OH being really, really late! :wall:

Thought the red carpet was boring, and why repeat the intros on the balcony and how many times does Andrew Garfield need to tell us that it was the slowest/longest walk through Leicester Square. As they confiscated our mobiles, we could not tweet about it! So hence my boredom!

I am going to go out on a limb here. It was good but not that great. However, all the actors were amazing, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, etc, and there were some emotional bits, but I was a bit bored and it felt long! The 3D did not work for me either, expected more of the web and Spider-Man flying around to really jump out at me but it did not, granted the scenes were amazing! I thought Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man was much better then Tobey Maguire's version. I was dubious at first, but I liked him. 7/10

That reminds me that he says he walks through Leicester Square daily, I need to wander around there more...

Just reading some of the reviews now and I agree with you baty. May be I was expecting a bit more!
rawr_xoxo wrote:Definitely better than the original pussy tobey maguire trilogy, so glad that he dates Gwen Stacey and not frustrating and annoying MJ.
I agree here too! I liked that Emma Stone played a much stronger character, no damsel in distress!
EthanRunt wrote:Some good moments, sure, but for a 2 and 1/4 hour film, there didn't seem to offer much in terms of iconic moments, or completed storylines. Even Ben and May's basement was left flooding for goodness sake.
That's it! You nailed it for me! ;)

I managed to catch this one last night as well and like many reviews that have already been posted, I thought it was enjoyable but nothing to really shout about. Very similar storyline with a few tweaks here and there but pretty much the same. Would've thought that if they were releasing the 'same' movie again they'd want to go all out on it... but it just didn't seem like it did.

I certainly wouldn't p*y to see it and was left rather disappointed compared to the post-screening feeling after Avengers.
Pretty average for me and a extremely generous 6/10...

Let's hope that the TDKR is not as disappointing. :noo:
