The new song from 'Gallows' old front man 'Frank Carter'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A12SL4eqFpM

Apparently, he wants to make rock music cool again!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

The Backstreet Boys were really good: good dancers, good singers. But The NEw Kids On The Block.... well... a bit disappointing! I wasn't expecting much from them, to be true!
I had great fun, the concert was both great and hilarious!
I'm pretty sure Nick was on drugs tonight. There's no other explanation.

Didn't know many of the nkotb songs tho. I only knew two
But well worth it.

...Or he's hyper. But I incline toward the drugs thing.

We also thought Nick was a bit OTT but didn't think about drugs... makes sense...

It started terribly: the two bands must have had different sound guys because whenever they were on at the same time, we couldn't hear the mics, just the bass, which is a bit ridiculous - perhaps they were trying to outdo each other... Much better when they were alone and we loved the BSB stuff - I was surprised by how few NKOTB songs I knew given that I thought I was a fan when I was a kid. Clearly not so much...!

Super cheesy, a nice trip down memory lane to my yoof.

Couldn't get over how many tiny kids there were and how they knew all the words to all the old songs...!

I'm pretty sure that the music was very loud and they played a lot with lights effects to hide the fact the NKOTB can't sing.

Also I checked on the internet yesterday: Nick had a drug problem till he discovered he had cardiomyopathy. So he probably wasn't on drug yesterday :p
He's just... passionate, enthousiast, intense... :shifty:

skirted with the idea of watching the NKOTB live screening after our Avengers trip at the Odeon, but when I walked into the screening, it was empty!

Must have been cancelled.

Hop Farm last week, my midyear break. Friday highlights - a blitheringly bearded Steve Smyth, lyrical Lianne Le Havas and the gothic Howling Bells. A comically spirited Ray Davies sounded like he'd come here straight out of the Stroke Unit at Guys Hospital. Peter Gabriel was just downright odd, too serious by far, which even his freakish light show couldnt help alleviate. And no encore from him, hardly befitting a headline act.

Sunday? - Suede were mutton dressed as lamb, but an enjoyable roast for the day. Great support from a politically vocal Richard Ashcroft contrasted with a suprisingly restrained Levellers. Loved the ageless Psychedelic Furs and Ian Hunter and the Rant Band. My only actual rant was missing nearly all of the wonderful Nitin Sawhney show.
