I watched this last night in Cardiff. Although the storyline was weak I do have to say that there were some funny moments (including the dance sequences) and Channing Tatum's performance was very good. My opinion of him has definitely changed since 21 Jump Street.

I was at the Manchester showing, half full, free popcorn, and not a bad film. Wouldn't recommend it to men or couples. on the way in the virgin rep asked to take a photo of me and OH in front of the virgin sign , which I agreed to. Forgetting which film I was going to watch. Now I will probably on some website somewhere as the bloke who goes and watches male stripper films......GREAT

I got asked if the Virgin rep could take my photo on the way in too! So my friend had to take a pic of me grinning stupidly with the rep. Luckily she didn't get my name but I hate to think what will happen to the photo!

It looks like we escaped the photographs as we were not even asked. The film was not what we expected from the trailer, we expected a comedy, it started off ok but got a bit boring after a while and no real story.

I saw the trailer and assumed that would be the only "dancing" in the film. Boy was I wrong and quite glad of it too! It was nice to see a film where the males got their kit off more than the ladies for a change

Tatum's character was funny and endearing but I found the other characters a bit too 2D or predictable and the plot was not up to much.

Would all of the above stop me from recommending?

Hell No!!!!! I will be telling most of my female friends
