I, too, was at the screening last night (think I saw Beate in the loos afterwards, but wasn't really the right place to say hi!).
Saw this with OH who was very excited about it, and he definitely loved it. Lots of laughs and he would have given it a 9/10 rather than 8-8.5/10 if the trailer hadn't had some of the best laughs, but given how much he laughed, I think it was a winner for him.
My view, was that it was good, some of the laughs were a bit too gross for me (OMG the carpet incident.... WHO DOES THAT???!!!! No, what kind of person even THINKS of that!?) but overall quite good. Not that fussed to see it again though.
I haven't seen Flash Gordon, but I thought all that was v funny, based on the fact that it was quite clearly a terrible film... we all have terrible films etc from our past that are special to us, don't we?! Am looking forward to actually watching the DVD - a very funny touch.
